ISO standards are extremely important in ensuring the quality and safety of business products and services; this is something we take very seriously. Our ISO 9001, 1400, 27001, and 4801 certifications show our commitment toward quality management, environmental management, information security control, and occupational health and safety.

ISO 1900 Certified

AS/NZS 4801 – Occupational Health & Safety

ISO 4801 certification relates to Occupational Health and Safety Management within the organisation. The certification acknowledges that critical OHS elements have been implemented into Zanity’s business activities and processes. This practice simultaneously protects the health & safety of Zanity employees and protects / minimises financial risk due to poor OHS practice.

With an effective Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) in place, Zanity has proven capability in identifying, implementing, evaluating, reviewing and continually improving OHS organisational procedures. The OHSMS aligns with OHS legislation and is based upon risk minimisation knowledge and practice.

ISO 14001:2004 – Environmental Management System

An internationally recognised certification, ISO 14001 demonstrates Zanity’s commitment to the minimisation of organisational environmental impact. An Environmental Management System (EMS) simultaneously reduces environmental impact while retaining business profit. Relating specifically to the minimisation and management of environmental and financial risk, the certification demonstrates Zanity’s capacity in the identification, measurement, management and effective control of environmental impacts due to business operations.

ISO 27001:2005 – Information Security Management

Zanity is ISO 27001 certified. A standard that forms the foundation of information security management excellence within an organisation, adherence to ISO 27001 methodology demonstrates Zanity’s proficiency in the establishment, implementation, operation, monitoring, maintenance and continual improvement of information security management across the organisation. With the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in place, clients, partners and external parties can be confident that Zanity’s security control measures are more than capable of protecting and safeguarding valuable information assets.

OCCUPATIONAL, HEALTH, AND SAFETY (OH&S) POLICY

Zanity is committed to:

  • Provide a work safe environment at Zanity’s premises for all employees, subcontractors and vendors, preventing and eliminating injury and illness in the workplace
  • Implementing the highest level of Duty of Care as required by legislation.
  • Reduce critical human-centric difficulties in the workplace, namely, ergonomics and fatigue, and provide for better balanced management of work and personal lives of employees and subcontractors.
  • Be prepared at all times to mitigate OH&S-related hazards and emergencies and to reduce to zero incidents on Zanity premises and/or incidents at sites of subcontractors/vendors engaged in Zanity’s work.
  • Complying with all relevant Australian Commonwealth and State Legislation (e.g. Work and Health Safety Act 2011 (Commonwealth), Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (State of Victoria) and all relevant legislative requirements).
  • Ensure that all Zanity personnel (employees, subcontractors and vendors) are safe, happy, healthy and vibrant for contributing their best towards guaranteed client service delivery.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT POLICY

Zanity is committed to:

  • Reduce carbon emission footprint to the atmosphere via undertaking sustained innovation in the areas of energy usage reduction, energy emission and electronic waste reduction
  • Continuously measure and improve high levels of internal benchmarks with respect to reducing energy footprints in computing across all project portfolios
  • Partner with vendors having effective energy management systems implemented in their own organisations and demonstrating maturity in environmentally-friendly computing techniques
  • Conduct business in an ethical, transparent and honest manner with all stakeholders including all clients, staff, subcontractors, vendors and government departments.

INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY

Zanity is committed to:

  • Establishing policies, procedures and processes to ensure availability, confidentiality and integrity of information assets belonging and entrusted to Zanity by clients, staff, subcontractors and vendors
  • Implementing a robust risk management strategy that adequately addresses all information security risks involved in people, technology, office premises and business operating assets. Zanity aims to identify and minimize risk via assessing impact on Zanity’s business and ensures the firm is well prepared to mitigate hazards arising out of information security breaches
  • Ensuring compliance of all legal, regulatory and contractual security requirements as applicable to Zanity’s business
  • Promoting a culture of continual improvements of security standards and the philosophy of ‘prevention is better than cure’
  • Promoting information security awareness and all stakeholder (client, staff, subcontractor, vendor, government) involvement in information security improvement programs
  • Developing long term strategic relationship with vendors to ensure that they align to our information security objectives and requirements
